An award-winning independent coffee company hopes to support healthy minds through a new partnership with a Suffolk mental health charity.

Paddy & Scott’s, which has shops in Ipswich and Hadleigh, has crafted a new smoothie to raise money for Suffolk Mind. For every sale of the new Berry BrainWave, £1 will go directly to the charity.

Jon Reed, CEO of Paddy & Scott’s said, “Looking after our brains and our soul is incredibly important and something that impacts us all…good, bad or indifferent.

“We spend hours training our people on how to make beautiful coffee, so it’s time we invested the same time into supporting our mental health!

“We’re thrilled to be promoting this smoothie with healthy ingredients to create healthy minds.”

As its namesake suggests, Berry BrainWave is packed with brain-supporting vitamins including Omega-3 and is a delicious blend of blueberries, raspberries and bananas.

Jon Neal, CEO of Suffolk Mind, Comments, “We are delighted to collaborate with Paddy & Scott’s on this exciting initiative. Mental health is a growing concern in our community, and we need more businesses like Paddy & Scott’s to step up and support our efforts to raise awareness and provide much-needed support to those in need.”

He adds, “We hope Berry BrainWave will spark positive conversations around mental health and encourage people to seek help if they need it.”

Berry BrainWave will be available in both Paddy & Scott’s shops from Friday 19th May to the end of September, 2023.
