All content uploaded to NewsByWire is user-generated, and while we are not liable for the content submitted by our users, we take potential copyright breaches seriously and are committed to addressing them promptly. If a copyright holder believes that their work has been infringed upon through content uploaded to NewsByWire, we have a clear process in place for reporting and removing such content.

Takedown Request Procedure

1. Notification of Infringement:

   • If you believe that any content on NewsByWire infringes on your copyright, please provide a written notification with the following details:
     • Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
     • Identification of the content on NewsByWire that you claim is infringing and sufficient information for us to locate it (e.g., a direct URL).
     • Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
     • A statement confirming that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material in question is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
     • A statement that the information in your notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Submission of Takedown Notice:

   • Send your completed takedown notice to the following email address:

3. Review and Response:

   • Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, NewsByWire will review the request and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
   • We will notify the user responsible for the content about the takedown and provide details of the claim.
   • If the user believes the content was removed in error, they may submit a counter-notice with relevant details and justification.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure:

   • Users who believe their content was wrongfully removed can submit a counter-notice including:
     • Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
     • A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
     • The user’s name, address, telephone number, and a statement of consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the UK.
     • The user’s electronic or physical signature.

5. Resolution:

   • Upon receiving a counter-notice, NewsByWire may reinstate the content if we do not receive notice from the original complainant that legal action has been initiated within 14 days of receiving the counter-notice.
