Coffee tastings, a latte art competition, a brew school and more than 30 exhibitors will come to Sheffield’s Trafalgar Warehouse on Saturday Oct 3, 2026 as part of Sip Fest, a week celebrating the city’s independent coffee and café culture. Running from Sept 28, 2026 to Oct 4, 2026, the festival also includes a free fringe programme across more than 40 coffee shops, cafés, bars and roasteries, with tickets for the Warehouse event priced at £10.
At the Warehouse, visitors will be able to meet roasters, explore brewing equipment and discover local food and drink producers alongside bakery stalls, street food, DJs and a makers market. The programme includes the Sip x Mows Latte Art Shootout, while Brewed By Hand will host a brew school featuring equipment from xBloom, Hario, Wilfa and Loveramics. A talks programme curated by Cuppers Choice will explore the people and issues behind what goes into a cup of coffee.
Coffee enthusiasts can explore a line-up including Scenery Roasters, Yallah Coffee Roasters, Taith, Module, Nostos and Orea, alongside Dark Woods Roasters, Cuppers Choice, Caravan Roasters and Sheffield’s Forge Roasters. Manchester doughnut favourite Gooey and Made Matcha join the line-up alongside Nam Song and Bullion, adding more to discover between tastings. The makers market will offer another way to discover local businesses, with the line-up including Bettys Flower Club, Carla Murdoch, Echino Ceramics, Dink Ceramics and Paradiso Authentic Italian Tiramisu.
Beyond the Warehouse, Sip Fest’s fringe encourages people to explore the city’s coffee shops and cafés throughout the week. Organisers are also planning all-ability coffee runs, with further details to be shared through the festival’s website and social channels.
The festival brings Sheffield’s coffee community together around the people who roast, brew, bake and create places to meet, giving visitors a chance to try something new and find independent businesses to return to.
