Luxury homeware brand Birdie Fortescue has chosen global fulfilment specialist, Prolog Fulfilment, as its fulfilment partner to support the company’s continued growth which has seen it expand from a regional Norfolk antiques business into an international label, partnering with high-profile collaborators and launching its first U.S. digital and pop-up presence in New York.

The partnership will see Prolog manage the end-to-end fulfilment journey for Birdie Fortescue, supporting the brand’s commitment to quality, presentation and customer experience and its focus on ‘high quality products that are made to be cherished for generations to come’.

Under the terms of the deal Prolog will provide secure, warehousing for the full Birdie Fortescue range, from smaller homeware products through to large and bulky furniture. Specialist handling procedures are in place for high-value and fragile items, with quality checks throughout the operation to ensure products leave the warehouse in perfect condition. Orders will be accurately picked, packed and dispatched using packaging appropriate to the products and the premium positioning of the Birdie Fortescue brand.

For larger and heavier furniture, Prolog will coordinate a two-man delivery service, with customers able to select booked delivery slots. The white-glove service includes delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, positioning and removal of packaging where required, ensuring products are handled with care through to their final destination.

The solution also includes a range of value-added services with the Prolog team undertaking assembly and finishing work, to ensure each product is perfect when it arrives. Orders will be picked, packed and dispatched using special packaging appropriate to the products and the premium positioning of the Birdie Fortescue brand.

Prolog will manage all returns and aftercare, with items inspected and processed efficiently to protect stock value while maintaining a high level of customer service.
