IT Managed Services provider, Redsquid, has completed its 5th acquisition of 2025 with the acquisition of Cyberseer, marking a major milestone in the company’s evolution and a defining step in its mission to deliver connected and secure technology to UK businesses and organisations.

The acquisition positions Redsquid, a B Corps-certified technology provider, as the only Managed Service Provider offering a fully integrated Security Operations Centre (SOC) and 24/7 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) capability powered by ASPECT, Cyberseer’s proprietary automation platform.

Founded in 2014 by leaders in advanced threat management, Cyberseer combines cutting-edge machine learning, behavioural analytics, and expert human insight to outsmart cybercriminals.

“This is a transformation that changes everything,” said Sohin Raithatha, CEO of Redsquid. “No other UK MSSP unites IT, cloud, and cybersecurity capabilities with a proprietary 24/7 MDR platform and does so as a certified B Corp and Cyber Essentials Governing Body. It’s proof that innovation, integrity, and accountability can coexist. Our mission is to give UK organisations complete confidence in their technology, knowing every layer is monitored, protected, and managed by a partner committed to both performance and purpose.”

ASPECT seamlessly connects to leading security technologies including Darktrace, Exabeam, Google SecOps, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender and CrowdStrike via API integration. This intelligent system automates a significant portion of alert discovery and triage, enabling low-level alerts to be managed and responded to automatically.

Alerts requiring deeper analysis are then escalated to the expert SOC team, composed entirely of Level 3 analysts. These specialists receive enriched threat intelligence and context from ASPECT, enabling faster investigation and response. 24/7, the SOC maintains full operational readiness, with Tier 3 analysts to support alert investigation and escalation, ensuring continuous coverage and “always-on” security operations.

To strengthen its cybersecurity leadership, Adrian Hunt, co-founder and director of Cyberseer, joins Redsquid as Chief Security Officer (CSO), a strategic appointment that signals the company’s continued commitment to building an innovation-driven, automation-led security operation. In parallel, Redsquid is expanding its development team to maintain and enhance its proprietary IP, ensuring continuous improvement and agility across its cybersecurity ecosystem.

“Becoming part of Redsquid marks an exciting new chapter for Cyberseer,” said Garath Lauder, Co-founder and Director of Cyberseer. “Our SOC and ASPECT platform were built to give customers visibility and confidence in their cybersecurity. With Redsquid, we can take that vision further, integrating advanced detection and response with best-in-class managed IT and cloud.”

Founded in 2006, Redsquid has built a strong reputation as a B Corp-certified technology provider committed to sustainable, people-first innovation. The addition of Cyberseer strengthens Redsquid’s position as a leader in automation-led cybersecurity and enterprise-grade managed services, setting a new benchmark for the UK technology landscape.
