Power of Pilates, one of Berkshire’s longest-running Pilates studios, is opening a brand-new reformer studio in Crowthorne this autumn. After 18 years of teaching thousands of local residents and building a trusted reputation across Wokingham and Reading, the team is expanding to bring high-quality, accessible reformer Pilates to Crowthorne, Wokingham, Bracknell and the surrounding villages.
Founded in 2007 by Claire Roberts, Power of Pilates has grown from small community hall classes into a two-floor flagship studio in Lower Earley. The new Crowthorne location marks the next step in the studio’s evolution.
The new studio, located at Unit 19, Wellington Business Park, Crowthorne RG45 6LS — just five minutes from Crowthorne train station — will offer a fully equipped reformer space, small-group classes and expert instruction from a team known for its supportive, friendly teaching style. Classes will cater to complete beginners through to experienced clients, with a strong focus on technique, personal attention and creating a welcoming environment for every body.
Claire Roberts, founder of Power of Pilates, said:
“After 18 years building Power of Pilates, opening in Crowthorne felt like the natural next step. I live locally and already teach in Finchampstead, and so many of our clients come from this side of Berkshire. It’s exciting to bring our teaching closer to home. The new studio will be a calm, uplifting space where people can build strength, confidence and long-term wellbeing.”
The studio will also offer an introductory package for first-time clients, along with a full schedule of morning, evening and weekend classes.
Opening date, class timetable and booking information will be released shortly.
