Pluxee UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Graham James as Acting Country Managing Director, stepping into the role to lead the business forward as it continues to evolve and expand its impact for clients, partners and their people.
Graham’s promotion reflects a confident internal succession and a strong step into the future for Pluxee UK. With more than 25 years’ experience in commercial strategy, performance management, and culture change, Graham has a sharp understanding of the evolving needs of organisations and their workforces. As former Director of Commercial Development, Graham has played a pivotal role in shaping how Pluxee helps businesses unlock greater value, from employee benefits and recognition to wellbeing and workplace culture.
Known for his partnership-driven, insight-led leadership style, Graham is also a passionate advocate for mental health in the workplace, particularly breaking down the stigma around men’s mental health. Outside the office, he lends his expertise to charities via Pilotlight’s social-value leadership programme and has worked with Samaritans on men’s mental-health awareness initiatives.
“I’ve stepped into this role because I believe this is a defining moment for the world of work, and for the role employers play in people’s lives,” said Graham James, Acting Country Managing Director at Pluxee UK.
“People’s expectations have changed. They’re not just looking for their next payslip; they’re looking for purpose, support, and recognition that feels real. That means employers need to move beyond generic benefits and start offering experiences that reflect what really matters to their people. At Pluxee, we’ve always believed that performance starts with people, and I’m proud to lead our UK business into a future where we help clients build workplaces that feel more human, more thoughtful, and more impactful. That’s the change we’re here to make.”
The leadership transition follows the planned departure of Burcin Ressamoglu, who stepped down at the end of May 2025 after a successful tenure leading the UK business since 2018. Pluxee thanks Burcin for her dedication and vision over the past 13 years with the Group and wishes her continued success.
Today, Pluxee supports more than 5,000 clients in the UK, serving over 5 million people. Under Graham’s leadership, the business will remain focused on helping HR and business leaders build thriving, people-powered organisations — delivering impact through innovation, insight, and experience.
Formerly known as Sodexo Engage, Pluxee UK was launched in 2023 following the global rebrand of Sodexo Benefits & Rewards Services, bringing a modern, digital-first identity to its long-standing expertise in employee engagement.
