Portsmouth has welcomed a new diagnostics clinic, backed by TV presenter and sports personality Gabby Logan, offering rapid diagnostics for residents looking for answers to their health concerns.
One Day Tests has opened a brand new clinic on Landport Terrace, just a 10-minute walk from Portsmouth & Southsea Station, providing residents access to hundreds of blood tests, giving a real boost to those on NHS waiting lists or looking for same or next day results. Latest NHS data shows that 42% of patients waiting for diagnostic tests in Portsmouth have been waiting longer than six weeks, more than double the national average of 20%.
This new Portsmouth clinic is part of One Day Tests’ network of 43 clinics across the UK, and reflects a move towards more proactive healthcare across the UK. Rather than waiting for symptoms to prompt a GP referral, growing numbers of people are seeking out proactive, data-led insight into everything from nutritional deficiencies to early cardiovascular risk markers and hormone imbalances.
