Electric Studios date follows a summer of international touring and major UK festival appearances
Mall Grab will make his long-awaited return to Sheffield for a major headline show at Electric Studios on Friday 4 September 2026.
The Australian-born, UK-based artist will arrive in Sheffield following a busy summer of international touring, with the Electric Studios date offering fans the chance to experience his genre-spanning sound in an intimate headline club setting.
The performance will mark Mall Grab’s first Sheffield appearance in almost three years, continuing his longstanding relationship with the city’s underground music scene.
He first appeared at The Tuesday Club (TTC) in 2018, playing an extended set to a sold-out crowd, before returning to the Sheffield institution alongside Effy and Steel City Dance Discs in 2021. His most recent city appearance came at Hope Works in September 2023, where he headlined a major showcase featuring Moktar, Anika and a host of Sheffield artists.
Now, Mall Grab will make his Electric Studios debut as the venue continues to establish itself as a new home for electronic music and club culture in Sheffield.
That ambition is reflected in a forthcoming programme spanning sold-out live shows, anniversary tours and club-focused events, with appearances from artists including St Etienne, We Are Scientists, Dusky, Channel One Sound System, Chicane, Silva Bumpa, Reef, Barenaked Ladies and The View.
Born in Australia, Mall Grab emerged in the mid-2010s with a distinctive take on house music before developing a sound that now spans house, techno, breaks, electro and harder club styles.
Since his first release in 2014, he has built a global following through high-energy DJ sets designed to connect directly with the dancefloor. His Looking For Trouble events have become a consistent sell-out draw since launching in 2018, while his debut album What I Breathe reached the UK Dance Albums Chart No.1 following its release in 2022.
The album featured collaborations with Nia Archives, D Double E and Brendan Yates of Turnstile, reflecting the wide-ranging influences that have shaped his sound.
More recently, he launched the Fragrance label with Effy and has continued to release new music, including the 2026 collaboration “Just The Way You Are” with Milky.
Mall Grab’s return to Sheffield adds another major moment to Electric Studios’ rapidly expanding programme, which continues to bring internationally recognised artists and live acts to the city.
Further artists appearing alongside Mall Grab will be announced shortly.
