The global Mainmark group of companies has announced the completion of a strategic alliance with Mitsui & Co., Principal Investments Ltd. (MCPI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd following the sale of its Japan operations to a fund managed by MCPI.

This alliance will establish a formal framework for collaboration between the two organisations, focused on advancing technical capability, expanding market access, and strengthening delivery of ground engineering solutions internationally.

Mitsui & Co., Ltd is one of the largest trading and investment companies in the world.

Sydney headquartered Mainmark has led the industry for re-levelling, ground improvement and void-filling solutions, developing and delivering the world’s most advanced and accurate solutions having grown its global presence over the last 20 years.

As part of the transaction, MCPI will assume independent operational control of the Japanese jurisdiction under a branding and strategic alliance arrangement, while leveraging Mitsui & Co. Group’s network and support structure. Mainmark will retain full operational control of all other global regions, with no change to existing operating structures outside Japan.

The alliance aligns with Mainmark’s long-term strategy to expand global capability, strengthen technical leadership, and support sustainable international growth.
