Aberdeen-based Alex Hutcheon + Co Solicitors has appointed Tyler McCraw to its senior management team as director to manage all activity in response to continued and rapid growth in its commercial and corporate division.
It marks a return to the firm for Tyler who began his legal career there as a legal and property assistant before embarking on his traineeship at Burness Paull, where he built experience in general commercial property work. Since qualifying, much of his focus has been on complex property aspects relating to renewable energy projects, further enhancing his expertise in commercial property work.
He also carried out a six-month secondment with Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation) in London, gaining in-house experience across a number of areas, including corporate and commercial operations.
“The commercial and corporate division is an area of strong growth for us, and we already service a high volume of work in this sector, said Alex Hutcheon + Co director, Adrian Hutcheon. “Demand from clients continues to grow at pace, so there was a clear need to appoint a director to ensure that we continue to deliver these services at a very high standard.
“Tyler brings with him a strong grounding and an approach that complements the firm’s ethos and having previously worked with us, is well placed to hit the ground running.”
