Press Release

LONDON, UK - September 23, 2026

London personal trainer Aimi Chen has launched an English-Chinese bilingual podcast exploring women’s health and fitness through both Chinese and Western perspectives. The podcast features conversations with health and fitness professionals on topics ranging from muscle and hormonal health to body image and women’s changing relationship with weight and exercise. It also draws on real body recomposition journeys from Chen’s work with women in London, including a City of London professional who lost 15kg over a year, including 10kg of fat mass measured by DEXA.

“Through my work, I noticed a significant gap in accessible, culturally relevant health information,” Chen said. “Many women grow up with traditional expectations around body weight or become caught up in restrictive diet trends that may not suit their individual needs. The podcast provides a space where women can hear different perspectives, learn from experts and take a more informed approach to their health.”

The podcast builds on Chen’s work as a London personal trainer, where her team uses DEXA body composition data alongside strength training and nutrition guidance to support women seeking fat loss, muscle gain and body recomposition. Her multidisciplinary team includes a coach with postgraduate training in soft tissue therapy and sports rehabilitation, alongside a team member with a professional chef background who provides practical cooking and nutrition guidance adapted to Chinese eating habits.

The first episode features clubbell coach and author Victor Rowse, author of The Limitless Body, who has trained a number of well-known Chinese celebrities. Their conversation explores strength, movement and changing perceptions of fitness across cultures.

Chen said the bilingual format is intended to make conversations around women’s health more accessible to Chinese-speaking audiences while bringing together ideas and expertise from different cultural backgrounds.
