Weston Park will host a brand-new harvest festival hoedown next month bringing a taste of Americana to the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.
The family-friendly Harvest Hoedown will take place on October 10 and 11 and will feature live music, artisan crafts, food and harvest celebrations with a Weston-Americano twist. Visitors can watch a line-up of live bluegrass bands including acts from Two Rivers Deep, David Busby and Rachel Maidstone and try out some line dancing. They can shop with artisan traders, enjoy delicious street food from independent traders and producers and indulge in a taste of Autumn at Weston.
Rebecca Alexander, Head of Estates and Operations at Weston Park, said: “This is a brand new event for Weston this Autumn and we’re really excited to be bringing family and friends together for a weekend of harvest celebrations.
“Visitors looking to get organised ahead of Christmas will be able to purchase unique gifts from our range of artisan makers, enjoy some delicious food and drink treats, enjoy some fabulous live music and give line dancing a whirl.
“The rest of the estate will also be open for guests to enjoy including our heritage orchards where Educating Kids Outdoors will be celebrating the humble apple with fun apple themed activities for children.
“Our Chefs in the Granary Restaurant will also be cooking up delicious tastes of autumn with harvest straight from the Walled Kitchen Garden.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm on both days. Tickets are just £10 per person when pre-booked in advance online. Standard admission applies on the day. Under 16s and Weston Park members go FREE.
