This initiative is part of a broader effort to foster innovation-driven economic development in Uzbekistan.

Press Release

Tashkent, Uzbekistan - June 22, 2026

Uzbekistan’s bright, ambitious young people are building ideas across all 14 regions of the country, sometimes without access to training, mentors, or capital, most of those ideas never leave the room. Yoshlar Ventures built Debocha.uz to change that.

Launched as the official talent discovery, training, and incubation platform of Yoshlar Ventures, Uzbekistan’s government-backed pre-seed venture fund, Debocha.uz is a comprehensive digital ecosystem designed to take young founders from earliest-stage ideas to investment-ready startups. The platform already gained over 1000 users and targets 10,000 active users in its first year of operation, with expected 15–20% users to create their MVP.

Debocha is how we find the founders that the system would otherwise miss,” said Abdulaziz Yakubov, CEO of Yoshlar Ventures. “Talent in Uzbekistan is not concentrated in one city. Our infrastructure shouldn’t either.

A core design principle of Debocha.uz is regional reach. The platform aims to establish Startup Clubs across all 14 regions of Uzbekistan, integrating schools and universities into a unified, centrally managed innovation ecosystem specifically to address the gap faced by founders who operate outside major urban hubs and have historically had limited access to accelerators, investors, and venture networks.

The platform operates on a rigorous four-stage pipeline designed to filter for commitment and quality, not just volume. Participants begin with structured entrepreneurship and startup education, a deliberate filter that ensures only motivated founders progress. Those who complete training enter a mentorship and incubation phase, working with regional and industry experts to refine their business models and build an MVP.

Developed projects are then presented at regional and national Pitch Day events, evaluated by expert committees and potential investors. The most promising ventures advance to the investment stage, where they become eligible for direct venture capital funding through Yoshlar Ventures, up to USD 350,000 per startup, alongside strategic partnerships, market access, and institutional support.

Debocha.uz serves as the exclusive sourcing and preparation mechanism for Yoshlar Ventures. By owning the full journey, from discovery through education, mentorship, and selection Yoshlar Ventures is able to invest with significantly reduced risk and a consistently higher quality of deal flow.

The long-term vision is to build Uzbekistan’s primary pipeline of internationally competitive, investment-ready startups, contributing directly to the country’s broader innovation-driven economic development agenda.
