Press Release

Manchester, UK - April 15,2026

  • eero mesh WiFi to deliver seamless full fibre coverage for UK’s small businesses
  • New research reveals small businesses lose an average of 11 hours a week to WiFi issues, highlighting the need for stronger in-premises connectivity

Zen Internet has partnered with eero, an Amazon business, to enhance its business connectivity offering across its growing full fibre footprint. The launch gives small and medium-sized businesses access to fast, reliable and easy-to-manage mesh WiFi, designed to help them make the most of their broadband.

The launch comes as new research* commissioned by Zen highlights the scale of in-premises connectivity challenges facing UK SMEs. While half (50%) of senior decision makers say their business has access to full fibre broadband, nearly half (49%) say WiFi coverage inside their premises limits the value they get from that connection.

On average, businesses report experiencing WiFi issues 13 times a month, with productivity losses averaging 11 hours per week.

For many organisations, the issue is no longer access to speed, more how consistently that speed reaches every device, every employee and every customer.

eero Business addresses that gap directly. Using eero’s TrueMesh technology, the system distributes WiFi intelligently throughout a premises, delivering strong, consistent coverage.

Businesses can create up to four separate networks, ensuring secure segmentation for payment terminals, staff devices, and guests access. Owners and managers can monitor and manage connectivity via the eero app and business web portal, without requiring specialist IT support.

From cafés and co-working spaces to small offices and retail shops, reliable WiFi is now a baseline expectation. eero Business gives organisations WiFi they can depend on, helping them run cloud tools, take payments, manage stock, host video calls and offer a stable guest connection.

Jon Nowell, MD of Zen’s Business Division, commented: “Small businesses have become increasingly dependent on cloud tools, online payments, and strong connectivity, yet our research shows many are losing valuable time each week to WiFi disruption. By bringing eero Business across our full fibre footprint, we’re helping organisations unlock the full value of their broadband connection and remove a persistent barrier to productivity.”

A step change for small business connectivity

This launch marks a meaningful shift in what small organisations can expect from their broadband. As the UK moves towards all-IP services and cloud-first ways of working, having WiFi that is as strong and reliable as the underlying fibre connection is essential. The eero devices bring strong performance within reach of smaller organisations, helping them operate more efficiently, deliver better customer experiences and stay ready for the digital demands ahead.

eero Business is available now across Zen’s Full Fibre Essentials (100Mbps–2.5Gbps) and Business Full Fibre Pro services, with no mid-contract price rises. To learn more: Ready for more | Broadband from Zen.
