Wayfarer Film Academy and Actors Training Center announce an exciting new partnership that will bring an expanded, professionally resourced film education program to the Chicago area beginning this fall.
Wayfarer Film Academy — formerly known as the Chicago Film Academy — is proud to unveil a dynamic collaboration with a renewed mission as it joins forces with Actors Training Center. Together, the two organizations will combine their complementary resources, facilities, and expertise to create a film academy unlike any other in the region.
Wayfarer Film Academy will bring its established commitment to train young filmmakers to tell inspiring stories that bring light while, The Actors Training Center, with nearly 20 years of experience teach the practical acting skills, professional habits, and on-set expectations required for success in film and television.
This collaboration reflects the shared values at the heart of both organizations: a belief in the honor and creative potential of every individual, a commitment to excellence, and a dedication to fostering community through the arts. Aspiring filmmakers and performers (middle and high school aged students) are encouraged to enroll in the classes that begin in September of 2026.
