TAMPA, FL - October 7, 2026

Tri-Tronics was named runner-up for Best Supplier – Safety Products at the 2026 ELLIES Awards, presented during the NAEC Convention & Expo in Chicago, Illinois, September 28 through October 1. Presented by Elevator World, the ELLIES Awards recognize businesses across the North American elevator and escalator industry that go above and beyond for their customers, employees, communities and the industry as a whole. Tri-Tronics finished second in the Best Supplier – Safety Products category, behind Adams Elevator. While the company was hoping to take the top spot, the recognition represents a significant milestone for Tri-Tronics and its growing presence in the elevator industry.

The recognition came during NAEC 2026, the industry’s largest annual gathering, where Tri-Tronics showcased its elevator door protection product line, including its newest addition, the 3D Fusion Elevator Door Protection System. The company also welcomed Chip Nobile and Jason Spezzaferra of Motion AI (Automation Intelligence) to the Tri-Tronics booth. With extensive knowledge of the elevator industry and Tri-Tronics products, Nobile and Spezzaferra were valuable additions to the team throughout the show and helped connect with visitors and industry contacts.

For Tri-Tronics, the week was about more than showcasing products. The company had the opportunity to reconnect with customers and industry contacts, meet new people and have conversations about the future of elevator safety. The response to the Tri-Tronics booth was particularly encouraging. Visitors commented on the company’s updated look and growing presence in the elevator market, reflecting the momentum the division has built in recent years.

That momentum has also been reflected in the response to 3D Fusion. The new elevator door protection system was selected as a finalist for Elevator World’s 2026 Product of the Year, giving Tri-Tronics another opportunity to put its latest elevator technology in front of the industry. The ELLIES recognition adds another milestone to that progress.

“Being named runner-up for Best Supplier – Safety Products is a great recognition for our team and the work we’ve been putting into the elevator division,” said Cam Gough, Elevator Division Manager. “We were hoping for first, of course, but coming away from NAEC with this recognition, along with the response we received at our booth, made it a great week for Tri-Tronics.”

The 2026 ELLIES Awards were presented during the NAEC Convention & Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois.
