New research from home broadband provider Trooli has revealed some of the top places to visit and things to do this summer while still providing families the freedom to stay online.
The study analysed gigabit capable broadband, 4G availability and public WiFi data in some of the most beautiful and interesting destinations across the UK – from picturesque villages and scenic beaches to remarkable heritage properties – to find some of the best, and most connected places, to visit.
This means that whether families are enjoying a UK staycation, a day trip to the seaside or a visit to a stately home, they can stay connected to each other, friends, entertainment and even work.

Featured in the Good Beach Guide, West Bay Beaches is made up of East Beach, a sloping shingle beach surrounded by magnificent sandstone cliffs made famous by TV’s Broadchurch, and West Beach, a smaller, quieter beach popular with young families.

- West Wittering, West Sussex
An award-winning stunning stretch of coastline on the West Sussex coast, West Wittering is renowned for its natural beauty and rich history. It’s perfect for fun and relaxation, all with unspoiled views.

- Camber Sands, East Sussex

Winner of the prestigious Blue Flag Award, Whiterocks Beach in Portrush, Country Antrim, is truly spectacular. Surrounding by limestone cliffs, the beach is popular with water sports enthusiasts year-round.

Strawberry Hill House & Garden, based in Twickenham, Greater London, is renowned as Britain’s finest example of Georgian Gothic revival architecture. - King’s College, Cambridgeshire
King’s College is one of the most iconic fixtures of Cambridge. Founded in 1441 by Henry VI, the college is well-known for its stunning architecture, particular in the famous Chapel, and its picturesque grounds. Open to the public to visit, it’s a gateway into history and learning.
And while you are there, visit the iconic Bridge of Sighs. Accessible through tours of St John’s College or you can pass under it if you are punting on the River Cam, Cambridge’s Bridge of Sighs is a unique Gothic Revival covered bridge. A central feature of the university and the city – it’s a real highlight for visitors.

- Avebury Stone Circles and Henge, Wiltshire
Avebury Stone Circles and Henge is a World Heritage Site. Comprised of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments, the stone circles are a true to connection to our ancient past.

- Seven Sisters Cliffs/Seven Sisters Country Park, East Sussex
