Casting the net wider the North of England is home to thousands of creative businesses, designers and architects.
Design Festival North returns for its 3rd year, taking place from 11th-13th July 2023. For 2023 we have a new venue, the 1830 Warehouse, Liverpool Road, Manchester. This truly unique event space allows us to keep the quirky and intimate feel that has made Design Festival North such a hit within the Design Industry. The bigger venue lets us bring together more than 500+ industry professionals with 30+ leading suppliers, and incorporates our new ‘Live Theatre’. The exhibition allows you to find the latest industry innovations, network, and do business, all under one roof.
According to Claire Gallagher, Event Director: “With Design Festival North we are emphasising the true collaborative nature of creative businesses in the North. We want to show how versatile the sector is and ensure it maintains its unique innovative, ground-breaking and globally renown position”.
Over the three-days the exhibition offers a daily programme of specially curated events – insightful talks, workshops and product launches – in the new ‘Live Theatre’. The program will have specific focuses on Health and wellbeing, Design Trends (materials, technology and more) and Design for Life – Creating a sustainable future.
The new ‘After Work Club’ is an exclusive invite only session of business, bubbles and bites. Held daily 5-7pm, and accommodating up 100 design professionals each day, guests will be served drinks and Northern themed food, whilst socialising with exhibitors and colleagues.
