J&B Recycling, an FCC Environment company, has strengthened its transport operations with the arrival of five new MAN TGS 35.440 hookloader vehicles, as part of continued investment to support the company’s growth and deliver a reliable, high-quality service to customers across the North East.
This £820,000 investment forms part of J&B Recycling’s ongoing programme of investment in its fleet and operations, strengthening the infrastructure behind its waste management and recycling services across the region. The new vehicles will support both customer collections and the movement of significant volumes of waste and recyclable materials between the company’s sites and processing facilities.
Mark Penny, Commercial Manager at J&B Recycling, said: “Growth is important to us, but it has to be sustainable and backed by the right investment. As we continue to develop our customer base and the services we provide across the North East, we need to make sure our fleet and infrastructure grow with us.

The five vehicles will operate throughout the North East, supporting roll-on/roll-off collections for customers as well as the movement of materials across J&B Recycling’s network of sites.
