London-based 360 global social media agency, Spin, is celebrating 10 years of helping their client make the most of their social channels.

The business was set up in 2016 by Max Whicher and Alex Bodini, who were each running separate cycling ventures at the time.

Realising that their advantage was not just in the products they sold, but in how they showed up on social, the pair joined forces to build Spin.

Today, Spin is a multi-award-winning social agency that operates with a team of more than 100 people across Europe, APAC and LATAM, with its headquarters in London and an office in Sydney.

It brings together strategy, always-on social, content creation, paid media, influencer activity, production and creator partnerships under one roof.

Max said: “The social landscape has shifted continually over the past decade. New platforms have emerged, expectations have shifted, and the pace has increased.

“But we’ve shifted and adapted with it so that we’re always at the forefront of social media.”

In recent years, the group has brought in additional senior leadership to add more structure, including a Los Angeles-based Chairman, a Managing Director and a Finance Director.

In 2025, Spin acquired Be A Bear, a YouTube specialist working with clients such as Paramount and Channel 5, with teams across Europe, South America and Australia.

Later in the year, Tiny Studios joined the group, adding B-Corp production capability and strengthening the agency’s approach to social-first filmmaking.

Alex added: “What began as a humble consultancy has gradually expanded into a broader offer.

“And with it our client base has evolved from exciting startups to international household names like Five Guys, Fortnum & Mason, Paramount, Channel 5 and the Rosewood Hotel Group.”

Looking ahead, Spin aims to continue building a complete, creative-first social offering that reflects the changing industry. Further international growth is part of the plan, alongside deeper specialisation across its group brands.
