To recognise and reward the nations Emergency Services, the iconic Merseyside amusement park Southport Pleasureland, is hosting four Emergency Services days over two consecutive weekends (10, 11, 17 and 18 June).
Southport Pleasureland will welcome Emergency Service workers and Blue Light card holders alongside their family and friends, where they can benefit from significantly discounted rider wristbands – priced at £15 for unlimited ride access throughout the day.
This year, the popular attraction is bolstering its annual concession, enabling anyone with a valid Emergency Services ID or Blue Light Card to purchase as many tickets as they wish at a highly reduced rate in comparison to the general admission price. Emergency Service Wristbands can only be purchased in advance online, those eligible need to select their chosen date, and then the Emergency Services wristband will appear as an option to add to basket.
CEO of Southport Pleasureland, Normal Wallis, said: “We are delighted to announce that we are holding four Emergency Service days again this year, as token of our appreciation for the great work that they do to help everyone. We initially started these special days after the terrible events in Manchester back in May 2017 to say thank you to all the Emergency Service and Forces personnel who work tirelessly every day to keep us all safe.”
The Emergency Services days are open to workers in Ambulance, Police, Fire Service, all armed forces (regular, reserves and veterans), Doctors and Nurses, NHS workers, Prison officers, Lifeboat station workers, border patrol and Blue Light Card holders. Valid ID includes NHS employee badge, Blue Light Card, Defence Discount Card etc.
Southport Pleasureland’s standard ticket terms and conditions apply. The offer is only valid for purchases made online, and will not be available to purchase on the day in the park. Purchasers must produce a valid Emergency Services ID along with their booking confirmation email in order to redeem their purchase on the day. It must be their own ID.
