SoapKast Productions, Inc, an independent network of original audio soap operas, is launching WORLDS APART, its first thrice weekly serial, on Monday, July 6, 2026. The series will release new twenty-minute episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12PM ET on all podcast platforms (including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and iHeart) and on SoapKast.com.
Created and written by Andrew Pemberton-Fowler (CBS’ “Soapy”, HBO’s “The Official Gilded Age Podcast”), WORLDS APART focuses on three families in Bedford Hills, a manicured suburb on Chicago’s North Shore. The series follows: The Livingstons (old money, London-polished, and newly returned) believe Bedford Hills still belongs to them. The Russes built something from nothing, and their ambition makes the town deeply, quietly uncomfortable. And the Greenfields are working every angle just to stay in a town that keeps making it harder to live there.
Their worlds fracture when Ian Greenfield’s friendship with Sylvia Russ and Robbie Livingston unleashes an unforeseen tidal wave which will consume everyone in its path. Meanwhile, the future of Livingston family’s two-centuries-old business empire will alter the fortunes of everyone in town…and around the world.
Fans can listen to WORLDS APART every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday wherever podcasts are available. Perfect for lifelong soap opera fans, a lapsed viewer, and anyone who loves a good story, WORLDS APART is a character-driven audio soap opera from SoapKast about class, race, and the invisible lines which tell people exactly where they belong.
WORLDS APART is produced and distributed by SoapKast Productions, Inc. The series is produced by Andrew Pemberton-Fowler and edited by Trae Budde (CBS’ “Soapy”, HBO’s “The Official Gilded Age Podcast”, and “Days of Our Lives: Inside Salem”).
