Sittingbourne based Autowash joins Pacifica Group

Pacifica Group, the UK’s largest independent appliance repair company, is growing is presence in the South East with the acquisition of Kent-based Autowash Ltd.

 

The acquisition is part of Pacifica’s ‘local’ strategy; creating a high-quality network of regional repairers offering local consumers and business customers access to directly employed engineers.

 

From its premises in Sittingbourne, Autowash is a specialist in domestic appliance repairs, sales and servicing.  Its team of 11 engineers provide appliance repair cover the to the Kent area working with a number of high-profile manufacturers.

 

In addition, it supports insurance companies with policy covered repairs and has contracts with local councils, letting agents, housing associations and schools as well as supporting local charities.

 

Autowash, which has been in business since 1985 and employs 20 people, is also a Euronics centre offering a wide range of home appliances for sale from its high street showroom.

 

Pacifica partners with major manufacturer brands such as such as AEG, Zanussi, Electrolux, Sony, Hisense, Hoover Candy, Haier, Servis, Electra, Howdens (Lamona), LG, CDA, Miele and Liebherr along with major retailers, such as Argos, Very Group and Buy It Direct as well as the UK’s largest insurance companies to provide technical service desk, spare parts fulfilment and repair services across the UK.

 

Autowash is the latest business to join Pacifica Group following its acquisition of Service 87 in Guildford, Highland Appliance Services in Inverness and JK Domestics in Liverpool all taking place through 2022.

With its growing network of regional businesses, together with its central hub in County Durham, Pacifica has cemented its position as the largest independent appliance repair company in the UK, undertaking more than 350,000 repairs every year and employing in excess of 250 engineers.
