The Gooden Center’s outpatient facility in Pasadena, California has a new look.
Founded in 1962, The Gooden Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers residential inpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, outpatient care and transitional housing, and is in network with most HMO, EPO and PPO insurance programs.
The recent improvements — everything from new carpets and furniture to freshly-painted walls — were made possible by a grant from the Susan E. Riley Foundation.
Gooden Center clients and alumni are an example of what can be accomplished when those with substance use and mental health disorders find themselves in a supportive community.
