Press Release

London, UK - August 2026

London-based property specialist Strettons has appointed Olivia Boulting as a Director and auctioneer to support its continued growth.

Olivia joins from Auction House UK, where she was Regional Manager and Auctioneer for the Southern UK territories, leading a team across offices in Bristol, Devon and Cornwall.

She brings more than 15 years property industry experience from estate agency to auctions, advising clients from private investors through to institutions on the sale and acquisition of residential and commercial property and land.

A familiar figure in the auction world, Olivia is known online as Queen of the Gavel. She has appeared on the BBC’s Homes Under the Hammer and co-hosts The Auction Edit podcast – a platform for discussing the people, ideas and issues shaping the auction industry.

Championing best practice within the property industry, Olivia also sits on the advisory board of NAVA (Propertymark) and is current Chair of the Plymouth Area of Property Professionals Association (PAPPA).

In this newly created role, Olivia will help grow Strettons’ auction department, while working closely with clients throughout the entire auction process. With a clear passion for both property and excellent customer service, she’ll combine business development and managing client relationships with taking to the rostrum as an auctioneer.

Andrew Brown, Director and auctioneer at Strettons, said: “Olivia is one of the most recognisable auctioneers in the business and we are delighted she has chosen to join us. She has built a genuine following across the South West and beyond, not only through her impressive sale results but also through her commitment to engaging a wider audience and promoting a greater understanding of the auction market, achieved through her regular attendance at property networking events and her role as host of one of the industry’s foremost property auction podcasts. That combination of rostrum experience and profile is exactly what we want as we continue to grow the department.”

Olivia Boulting added: “Strettons is one of the best-known auctioneers in the country with a catalogue that runs from London investments through to lots the length of the UK, so the chance to be part of that was one I did not want to miss.

“I was attracted by the combination of Strettons’ heritage, specialist property knowledge and forward-looking approach. It is a highly respected name with deep expertise but also has the ambition and energy to keep developing and that is really exciting to be a part of. Just as importantly, its approach feels personal. Property is ultimately a people business, and Strettons’ emphasis on relationships, trusted advice and delivering results strongly reflects how I like to work.”

Olivia has relocated from the South West to take up the role and joins ahead of Strettons’ next national property auction on Thursday 10 September. Lots are invited for the catalogue which closes on Friday 21 August. The auction will be live streamed with remote bidding.
