Lower Earley, Reading- November 2, 2025

Power of Pilates in Lower Earley turned pink this October, bringing the community together to raise £1,502 for Breast Cancer Now through its annual Wear It Pink event.

Clients and instructors filled the studio with colour, laughter and compassion — all in support of those affected by breast cancer and to remind everyone of the importance of regular self-checks and early detection.

The award-winning studio, recently named Best Pilates Studio in Berkshire, hosted themed Pilates classes and a lively raffle packed with fantastic Pilates prizes and generous donations from local businesses, making it a real community celebration.

“Breast cancer has touched so many of our lives,” said Claire Roberts, founder of Power of Pilates. “This event is about more than fundraising – it’s about reminding people to check themselves, talk openly, and support one another.”

All funds raised will go directly to Breast Cancer Now, helping to fund life-saving research and provide vital support for people affected by breast cancer across the UK.

Power of Pilates plans to make Wear It Pink an annual event, continuing to raise awareness and encourage self-care within the local community.
