EDITORIAL INSIGHT: Context, industry insight and market perspectives of this news story

Payment processing remains a challenge for businesses operating in sectors that are considered high-risk or underserved by traditional banking, particularly when those businesses have international operations. Recent years have seen a proliferation of platforms seeking to bridge the gap between conventional financial systems and alternative payment methods, yet many solutions remain fragmented or limited in scope.

For companies in industries such as online gaming, the creator economy, and cross-border services, the ability to manage both pay-in and payout flows flexibly is increasingly important. Solutions that combine crypto and fiat payment rails, as well as card and bank options, may offer practical advantages for businesses facing regulatory complexity or limited banking access. The relevance of such offerings is heightened as regulatory scrutiny and compliance requirements continue to evolve across multiple jurisdictions.

Press Release

LONDON, UK - September 7, 2026

New infrastructure connects crypto, card and bank payment methods with flexible fiat, crypto and card payout options PEYMO Ltd, a London-based payment technology company, today announced an expansion of its payment infrastructure, bringing pay-in, settlement and payout capabilities together within a single platform for businesses operating internationally. The expanded infrastructure is aimed at businesses in high-risk and underserved sectors, where access to traditional banking and payment processing has historically been limited, costly or difficult to obtain internationally.

Multiple pay-in and settlement options Through the new infrastructure, eligible merchants can accept payments via cryptocurrency, traditional cards and bank transfers. The way a customer pays does not necessarily determine how the merchant receives funds: PEYMO supports settlement across fiat-to-fiat, fiat-to-crypto, crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto combinations, allowing merchants to add payment methods without changing how they manage the funds they receive.

Flexible payout capabilities The same flexibility has been applied to payouts. Platforms that need to pay creators, players, affiliates, sellers, agents or other recipients can fund payouts in fiat or cryptocurrency and distribute funds through bulk fiat-to-individual fiat, bulk crypto-to-individual fiat, bulk fiat-to-individual crypto, and bulk crypto-to-individual crypto rails. Depending on the programme, additional options include payouts to existing cards, issuance and funding of new cards, and individual virtual accounts for recipients. PEYMO combines multiple payment rails and infrastructure partners within one technology ecosystem, with the aim of helping eligible businesses manage both sides of the payment equation: receiving funds and paying them out. The company says it has seen growing interest in these capabilities from gaming, creator-economy, direct-selling and other online businesses that require flexible, international payment and payout infrastructure.

“Businesses shouldn’t have to build a different payment infrastructure for every way their customers want to pay, or every way their users need to get paid,” said Tomas Bartos, CEO of PEYMO Ltd. “Our objective is to connect those payment flows through one flexible infrastructure.”
