The Business Network Central & East Lancashire has been shortlisted in Edge Hill University’s SME Productivity & Innovation Centre’s NW SME Growth & Innovation Awards 2022.
Edge Hill University’s Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) Productivity & Innovation Centre is an internationally recognised and award-winning Centre of Excellence for supporting growth and SMEs with scale-up potential.
The Business Network Central & East Lancashire has been shortlisted in the Business Strategy category of the centre’s NW SME Growth & Innovation Awards 2022, which aim to recognise special business achievements and raise business profiles across the region and beyond.
Launched in 2009, The Business Network Central & East Lancashire is a membership organisation, bringing together business leaders and decisionmakers in a structured lunch-based format that aims to help businesses connect and provide introductions for each other.
Each lunchtime event includes an optional morning seminar, delivered by specialists from within the group on a range of topics from business strategy, growth and succession planning to personal development and mental health in the workplace.
The Business Network Central & East Lancashire director Karen Tems said: “We are especially pleased and honoured to have been shortlisted for these awards, which came as a nice surprise.
“The past few years have been quite tough for the networking industry, but we recently celebrated our biggest event ever after hitting over 120 members, so it’s great to see the whole team’s achievements being recognised and celebrated in this way.”
The winners of each category at the NW SME Growth & Innovation Awards 2022 will be revealed at a prestigious celebration finale at the Bliss Hotel, Southport, on 10th November 2022.
