Three months have passed since the shocking and unexpected cancellation of the hit Paramount+ original series, NCIS: Tony and Ziva, and the fan campaign to #SaveTonyandZiva has taken to the skies. Organized by @NCISTivaFans on X (Twitter), fans crowdfunded a plane towing an aerial banner with one simple plea, “Save Tony and Ziva.”. The flight took place on the afternoon of April 2, 2026, circling the iconic Paramount Studios lot on Melrose Avenue for an hour.
NCIS: Tony and Ziva premiered on Paramount+ on September 4, 2025 to an impressive 371 million minutes viewed, entering Luminate’s weekly streaming top ten in 7th place upon its debut. Despite strong numbers and record fan engagement, the show was abruptly canceled on December 19, 2025. Remarkably, the show boasted a record launch for an American series in France after premiering on M6 on January 10, 2026, and surged to number 9 on the Apple TV Store within hours of digital release on January 26, 2026. This aerial banner is the latest in a series of stunts by Tiva fans who hope to exhibit the unwavering, global popularity for two of the most iconic characters in television history in an effort to convince Paramount to reverse their decision and save Tony and Ziva from cancellation.
