Press Release

LONDON, UK - May 2026

New central London location brings rapid diagnostics to a city where NHS waits for routine tests routinely stretch beyond three weeks.

Amid growing pressure on NHS primary care, a diagnostics provider that has already processed more than two million tests has opened its latest clinic in central London, offering patients blood test results on the same day* they’re seen.

One Day Tests, which cites journalist and presenter Gabby Logan as a patient and an ambassador, analyses over 80,000 biomarkers every month through its CQC-regulated, UKAS-accredited laboratory, has opened the Fitzrovia Clinic on Windmill Street, W1. The opening reflects a shift in how Londoners are approaching their health: rather than waiting for symptoms to prompt a GP referral, growing numbers are seeking out proactive, data-led insight into everything from nutritional deficiencies to early cardiovascular risk markers and hormone imbalances.

In February 2026, more than 250,000 Londoners were left waiting up to 18 days for a GP appointment, whilst the UK’s average wait for routine GP blood test results sits at between two and four weeks. One Day Tests processes 99.2% of blood markers within four hours of a sample being taken.

Yuri Fadeev, CEO of One Day Tests, said:

“We’re delighted to have launched our Fitzrovia Clinic on Windmill Street, enabling more people across London to take a proactive approach to their healthcare. Our mission is to make high-quality diagnostics faster, simpler and more accessible, so people can get the health insights they need without unnecessary delays – whether they want to investigate a specific concern, establish a baseline, or simply understand their body better.

Phlebotomist Lilly Ferreira will be heading up the Fitzrovia Clinic, and she adds:

“Proactive healthcare management is on the rise, and One Day Tests is there to provide fast, accurate results. If someone has a specific diagnosis, we can help them get answers and treatment options quicker, with our in-house GP appointments alongside fast blood testing. Likewise, if someone is on a health journey, rather than lots of expensive diets and supplements, we can help them understand their health baseline first, and then make the adequate lifestyle and dietary changes needed to maximise results.”

Alongside blood testing, the Fitzrovia Clinic offers GP consultations, testosterone replacement therapy and medically supervised weight management, giving patients a single location for both diagnosis and follow-up care.

The Fitzrovia Clinic site joins One Day Tests’ growing network of clinics across the UK.
