Manchester’s LA-style hangout spot, Courts Club, is excited to announce the launch of live sports screenings this September, making it the go-to spot in Spinningfields and St John’s for football, rugby, tennis, NFL, F1 and more. It will also be the place to go for watching the upcoming UEFA World Cup qualifiers being held between 5th and 9th September, including England and Scotland matches.
From 5th September, sports fans will be welcomed at Courts Club to view everything from football, NFL, F1, basketball, tennis, rugby and everything in between, within the vibrant setting that combines laidback California vibes with Manchester’s creative buzz.
Spectators can stay fully-fuelled and refreshed with a range of snacks at the bar, or food from Cantina, Courts Club’s Mexican-inspired food truck with food available all day. The pop-up Cantina Cali-Mex street food serves tacos, quesadillas, cowboy caviar, loaded nachos and corn ribs.
Perfect for groups, socials and after-work beers, those wanting a drink alongside watching, can enjoy the happy hour which runs from 5pm-8pm daily, offering two spritzes for £13.
Hayley Sammé, Marketing and Sales Director at Shiko Group, said: “When watching live sports it’s all about the atmosphere and that’s something that we really value at Courts Club – we’re inviting sports enthusiasts and friends to come together to enjoy good sports, great food and fantastic drinks. The live screenings are the perfect excuse to come down for the sports, and then come back to play on the courts yourself!”
