Lichfield housebuilder invests £5.1 million in local community

A Lichfield housebuilder is injecting a sizeable sum into the Curborough community.

As part of its Curborough Lakes development, on Watery Lane, which will provide 468 new homes, Redrow Midlands will invest over £5.1 million into the local area.

Contributions will support local services and amenities, with over £950,300 dedicated to improving transport links in the area – including enhancing public transport and improvements to the Trent Valley roundabout.

As part of the housebuilder’s commitment to creating thriving communities, a contribution of over £4.2 million will see improvements to local schools and educational opportunities in the area.

Elaine Cartwright, Sales Director at Redrow Midlands, said: “As part of our dedication to building thriving communities, we are delighted to be supporting the growth of Curborough. Not only by providing much needed new homes but also by investing more than £5.1 million into the local area.

“We know that by investing in this amazing area both new residents and those in surrounding neighbourhoods will be able to benefit from improved services and local facilities. We look forward to watching this community thrive and grow.”

Located just three miles from small town of Lichfield and with key travel routes within easy reach including to Birmingham and fast trains to London, the new development will offer village surroundings combined with a well-connected location, making it perfectly placed for first-time buyers, growing families and commuters alike.
