Holiday Inn Express Cambridge West – Cambourne has announced that Niall Bird has joined the team as the property’s new General Manager. Bringing over 30 years’ experience to the role, Niall began working in hospitality whilst still in school, and followed opportunities which led him to work and travel in Australia and South-East Asia. With his extensive hospitality experience and proven leadership skills, Mr. Bird is poised to further enhance the guest experience at Holiday Inn Express Cambridge West – Cambourne and drive the hotel’s success to new heights.

Outside of his role, Niall is a keen runner, and has completed a number of marathons including New York and Paris. Last year he finished the 83km Karhunkierros trail in Finland, which sees competitors begin the challenge in the Arctic Circle and ends in a Finnish ski resort.
