The family-run cabinet and furniture maker Herringbone House is proud to announce the launch of its new online shop, Herringbone Shop, bringing joyful, British-made interiors into homes across the UK.
The new Herringbone Shop includes wallpapers, fabrics, table linens, art prints, flooring, hardware and furniture, all made in England by skilled British makers and manufacturers. Rooted in Herringbone House’s ethos of championing British-made design, the new Shop has been created to celebrate exceptional British craftsmanship and art.
At a time when so much of the interiors market is designed in Britain but manufactured overseas, Herringbone House is taking a different approach. Everything in the Herringbone Shop is made in England, with the company working directly with specialist printers, textile mills, workshops and artisans across the country.
The result is a collection that feels distinctly Herringbone House: colourful, characterful and a little unexpected. The team worked closely with artist Jessica Russell Flint to create memorable table linens, wallpapers and fabrics that are sure to make you smile. Every wallpaper and fabric design in the shop begins life as an original piece of hand-painted artwork.
The carefully curated collection includes:
- Tablecloths, runners and napkins, made from designs hand-drawn by Jessica Russell Flint, then woven, printed and sewn in the UK
- Joyful wallpapers and fabrics in hundreds of designs, from botanicals and underwater scenes to cheeky classics and nursery collections. Every single design across the entire range begins as an original, hand-painted artwork by artist Jessica Russell Flint, before being printed in Staffordshire
- Exclusive art prints, hand-drawn by artist Jessica Russell Flint and printed in London
- Hand-finished, FSC-certified oak flooring, crafted and hand-finished in Yorkshire
- Luxury hardware, crafted by British specialists
- Brand-new Herringbone House pieces and gifts, from their workshop, including beautifully made chess tables, humidors, welly racks, height charts and dog beds
The Herringbone House team travelled across the UK, visiting wallpaper printers, textile mills, flooring workshops and hardware makers to understand the craftsmanship behind every product, and to build lasting partnerships with manufacturers who share the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
William Durrant, Founder of Herringbone House, comments:
“The Herringbone Shop is a natural extension of everything we value: thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and pieces that stand the test of time. These are beautifully made, enduring pieces created by skilled British manufacturers and artisans, whose quality we deeply value. The shop reflects that philosophy and our ethos perfectly.”
While the new shop marks an exciting chapter, Herringbone House’s design studio and workshop remain at the heart of the business. The team continues to design and create bespoke kitchens and interiors for clients across the UK and internationally. Visitors are always welcome at the Canterbury studio and workshop to explore the handcrafted cabinetry, discuss upcoming home projects, and discover wallpapers, fabrics and flooring that perfectly complement their designs.
William Durrant continues:
“The shop gives people a way to bring that Herringbone House feeling into their homes. Whether it’s a fun-loving wallpaper, a set of linen napkins or an art print, these are other ways to bring colour, personality and British craftsmanship into a room.”
