Local Community invited to nominate worthy causes for Geo Underwriting’s post-show Flower Wall giveaway

Geo Underwriting, a market-leading provider of specialist agricultural insurance, is once again asking the local community to nominate deserving local causes to receive the stunning Geo Flower Wall display that will be seen in the Member’s Area at the Great Yorkshire Show, 14-17th July 2026.

Created by local florist Fiona at Raspberry Wild, the beautifully designed Flower Wall is a celebration of Yorkshire’s rural charm and community spirit. It will be made from home-grown and locally sourced flowers. After the show, all the flowers and plants from the wall will be carefully dismantled and donated to a nominated local good cause, located within a 15-mile radius of the Showground, such as a hospice, care home, school, community garden or other charitable organisation. Geo will arrange for its delivery to the winning cause during the week following the show.

Kate Bush, Trading Director at Geo Underwriting said: ” Through this initiative, we want to give something back to the community and brighten up a local space, while encouraging people to come together. We are also keen to celebrate the amazing charitable work that is happening across Yorkshire, and we would greatly appreciate help from the public in nominating worthy causes to receive the Geo Flower Wall, after the show. We can’t wait to find out who will be this year’s nominated charity winner!”

Last year’s lucky winner of the Geo Flower Wall was Horticap, a Harrogate based charity that specialises in horticultural training for its students, who are all adults with learning and other disabilities. Geo’s Kate Bush presented the flowers and plants to Horticap’s Operations Manager Phil Airey.
