The professional standards of service offered by FBC Manby Bowdler’s agricultural experts has been recognised by the UK’s top independent guide to law firms.
The firm’s agriculture and rural services team was ranked in the “top tier” of the annual Legal 500 publication, while team leader Sarah Baugh was individually highlighted as a leading individual in her field of expertise.
The Legal 500 Guide noted that Sarah and colleague Tom Devey had great knowledge in agricultural and estates practice, which was backed by other expertise within the firm to offer a full service to clients.
It continued: “[They] stand out on the agricultural front. Their knowledge of the owners and occupiers of farms and estates across the region is exceptional. Their approach is pragmatic, but with bold advice, sagely cautioned against the risks and costs. They try to complete matters and make progress rather than to see matters drawn out and protracted – it might be said that this is an all too rare quality in the legal sector.”
FBC Manby Bowdler managing director Neil Lloyd said: “These Legal 500 rankings are a real feather in the cap for our teams, who have continued to provide a fabulous service to our clients throughout the past year.
“I’m very proud of all our teams that have been recognised by the guide this year and know they will continue to go above and beyond to offer the very best service possible.”
The Legal 500 uses a comprehensive research programme to assess the strengths of law firms in more than 150 jurisdictions.
