An entrepreneurial estate-agent is flying solo and opening her own agency.
Sarah Oliver, who is from Baffins but grew up in Waterlooville, is putting her 10 years’ industry experience in property to good use by opening her own modern independent estate agency.
The 29-year-old, who has previously worked at NEXA Properties and Fox & Sons, has just officially launched Sarah Oliver Property Ltd.
Her new agency is designed to combat the troubles customers find with high-street estate agents.
Recognised for her expertise, high standard of marketing and customer service and her transformative approach to the industry, Sarah is aspiring to challenge the stereotypes within estate agency and change the way people buy, sell, rent and experience moving.
A fully licenced, insured and regulated estate-agency, Sarah Oliver Property combines traditional methods, state-of-the art marketing and a bespoke, one-on-one service for every client.
Sarah will offer advertising boards, bespoke property particulars and advertising on Rightmove and Zoopla but with innovative additions to her marketing mix such as social-media marketing and drone videography.
She will cover all areas of Portsmouth, from Southsea to Hayling Island – where her main focus will be.
Sarah said: ‘Sarah said: ‘In traditional estate agents, many customers complain of missed or mixed messages, rigid opening and contact hours and a range of people dealing with them and their biggest asset, which includes both the experienced and inexperienced members of the team. This was a huge reason behind setting up the business.’
Sarah will also be giving back to local good causes and charities across the city, donating £100 of every sale to local charities and causes such as Hayling Voluntary Services, local school PTAs, the Baffins Pantry and other community food-bank schemes.
She started her journey in real estate at aged 19, after realising she had a fascination with property and because of how much of a ‘people person’ she was.
She said: ‘I love talking to and meeting new people. I had a fascination with peoples’ homes from a young age and became obsessed in property, always browsing at homes for sale out of curiosity. Since then, it has grown into a passion and I now get to do what I’m passionate about every day, helping people find their dream homes in the process.’
She will work with her clients 7 days a week, offering honest advice, support and viewings.
She said: ‘Traditional high street estate agents can be restricted in their working hours due to a lot of them only operating during 9-5, however I’m going to ensure my clients aren’t bound by strict operating hours meaning they get the best service and reassurance possible throughout what can become a very stressful process.
‘I’m so excited to be starting my biggest adventure yet and being able to help more clients get the best price for their home with the best service, going above and beyond in a way that traditional high street agents aren’t always able to.’
