EDITORIAL INSIGHT: Context, industry insight and market perspectives of this news story

Claymore Labs is expanding access to its deception-based security technology through a new partner programme, targeting IT teams and managed service providers involved in Active Directory protection. The move comes as organisations continue to face persistent threats from attackers seeking to exploit identity infrastructure, a well-documented risk area for both enterprises and service providers.

For partners, the programme offers a specialised tool designed to reduce the operational burden of false positives, a common challenge in security operations. By focusing on high-confidence alerts triggered by decoy activity, Directory Decoy aims to provide actionable intelligence that complements existing security investments without requiring wholesale changes to established systems.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - August 13, 2026

Claymore Labs today announced its Channel Partner Program for Directory Decoy, deception-based threat detection for Active Directory and Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS). For hackers, accessing Active Directory is the holy grail. If a hacker can gain control, and become an administrator, it can be game over. Most security tools monitor behavior and infer attacks, often generating hundreds or thousands of false alerts that contribute to alert fatigue and go uninvestigated.

Directory Decoy takes a different approach. It deploys believable AD and ADCS decoys whose unauthorized use is itself evidence of an attack. Aside from authorized internal testing, alerts are highly accurate and actionable.

The Claymore Labs Partner Program brings this capability to internal IT teams, MSPs, and MSSPs; helping them spend less time chasing false positives and more time responding to real threats.

“Our experienced penetration testers have seen how quickly a single Active Directory weakness can lead to a widespread compromise,” said Ted Finch, vice president marketing at Claymore Labs. “One weak password or misconfiguration can expose credentials, connected systems and ultimately an entire organization. Directory Decoy gives service providers a confirmed signal the moment an attacker touches a decoy, so they can respond before the attack spreads,” he continued.

Claymore Labs Partner Program

The Claymore Channel Partner Program includes levels, MDF, deal registration, SPIFFS, pre-qualified leads, NFR access, competitive margins, and personal support. It also includes add-on pricing models specifically for MSPs. Directory Decoy is a standalone product priced per protected user, with volume discounts. “It runs alongside existing security tools, giving partners a specialized tool to address identity attack paths without requiring customers to replace their current stack,” said Anna Neyhart, partner manager.

“Nothing we could find could stop our “red team” of hackers from bypassing most existing defenses about 90% of the time. So we created Directory Decoy; which has worked every time so far. This should be a massive frustration saver for security partners,” said Finch.
