Frozen food distributor Central Foods has been ranked 41st in the Northamptonshire LTD. Top 100, reinforcing its position among the county’s leading privately owned businesses.
Produced by Grant Thornton, Howes Percival and All Things Business, the Northamptonshire LTD. 2025 report ranks the county’s top private companies by turnover, using the most recent publicly available accounts as of 1 October 2025.
This year’s report shows that Northamptonshire’s Top 100 private businesses generated a combined turnover of £10.1 billion, up 3.6% on the previous year. Employment across the Top 100 also increased by 10.4% to more than 39,500 people.
Central Foods has also been recognised in two further rankings within the report, placing 16th in the list of Northamptonshire’s most profitable businesses and 17th in the list of the county’s fastest-growing businesses.
