Why 2 August 2026 Changes Everything
Eight weeks after ISS World Europe closes, the EU AI Act’s high-risk obligations enter into force. Annex III of the Act names law-enforcement evidence systems explicitly. Four obligations apply to every system in use: data governance, technical documentation, human oversight, and record-keeping. Each one is significantly easier to satisfy when the system is offline by design.

The session will answer three questions every procurement decision maker in the room needs to resolve before August: whether their AI system can produce a conformity assessment without a vendor’s help; whether its outputs can survive a defence challenge in court; and whether it can operate when the network is gone.
