Bluff City Magazine is proud to announce its upcoming event, “Music, Movies & Mental Health,” set to take place on March 30th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event, which will be panel-style, aims to explore the dynamic intersections of music, film, and mental health in the entertainment industry.
Held at Gifted Hands Financial Services located at 1840 Pyramid Place, the event promises an engaging discussion featuring esteemed panelists from various sectors of the entertainment and mental health industries.
Panelists Include:
- Angela Green, Esq: Notable figure from The Green Law Firm and acclaimed writer of the 5th Step movie produced by Memphis Movie Production, powered by On Location Memphis.
- Henderson Thigpen: Renowned 2x Double Grammy Winner, recognized for his collaborative role for the project Written in Their Souls and the iconic 1974 hit song, “Woman To Woman.” Thigpen is also the founder of the esteemed OTM Music Group.
- Coach Karla: Esteemed Founder and Coach at Transformations Station, offering valuable insights into mental health management, coping mechanisms for demanding careers in music and film, and strategies to navigate both successes and disappointments in the industry.
The event will kick off with an introduction to the panelists by the Editor-in-Chief of Bluff City Magazine, followed by an enlightening panel discussion shedding light on the challenges and opportunities within the music, film, and mental health sectors. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights, tips, and resources to help them thrive in their respective professions.
Following the panel discussion, the floor will open for a Q&A session with the audience, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with the panelists.
This event is FREE and open to the public, but registration is required. Doors will open at 10:00 am, allowing attendees to network and explore vendor offerings before the event commences at 11:00 am.
