World-leading British aviation manufacturer Aviramp has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The Telford-based manufacturer of step-free aircraft boarding ramps has been named a finalist in the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.
It is shortlisted for the Department for Business, Innovation, Science & Trade International Expansion of the Year Award after a period of significant growth.
Aviramp joins a national field of almost 200 finalists across 20 categories at the UK’s flagship business awards, headlined by Lloyds Bank, with ITV as media partner and the support of the UK government.

Aviramp has grown from an inspired idea in 2009 to become the global leader in the manufacture of step-free aircraft boarding ramps. The family-owned company designs, manufactures and installs its ramps at airports across the globe – with more than 950 now used by 50 million passengers a year in over 40 countries.
Sales have soared 68 per cent since 2022, with £6.3million of overseas sales last year. Aviramp counts Delta Air Lines, easyJet and American Airlines among its satisfied customers.
Winners will be announced at the gala ceremony at Grosvenor House, London, later in the year in front of 1,200 business leaders. In keeping with Awards tradition, winners ring the opening bell at the London Stock Exchange and are celebrated at the programme’s annual reception at the House of Commons.
