While some people are spending their days worrying that artificial intelligence is coming for their jobs, Gwinnett entrepreneur Audrey Bell-Kearney is over here building mystery books, digital escape rooms, trivia games, online communities, branded merchandise, and what she jokingly calls “an entire fictional economy.”

And she’s doing it at 59 years old.

Bell-Kearney, President of the Gwinnett Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWC), says she’s not interested in slowing down. In fact, she believes AI has opened the door for a completely new generation of creators, entrepreneurs, and underserved communities to build wealth in ways that were never possible before.

“People keep talking about AI like it’s the monster under the bed,” Bell-Kearney said. “Meanwhile, I’m over here teaching it how to help me sell books, create games, build communities, and launch businesses. At this point, AI probably needs a lunch break.”

Bell-Kearney is the author of The AI Middle Class Blueprint: Building The Middle Class One Skill, One Tool & One Family At A Time, now available on Amazon. The book outlines her vision for helping inner cities, rural towns, and underserved communities build new economic opportunities through AI education, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.

Her belief is simple: communities don’t have to fear job loss if they’re equipped to create new opportunities.

“AI isn’t just about replacing jobs,” she explained. “It’s about creating pipelines to new skills, new businesses, and new industries. The problem isn’t AI. The problem is making sure everyday people have access to the tools.”

Bell-Kearney is putting that philosophy into action through her fast-growing entertainment franchise, The Housewives Of Gwinnett (THOG), a cozy mystery universe that blends books, online gaming, interactive trivia, virtual escape rooms, micro dramas, branded merchandise, and community experiences.

The project is part publishing company, part entertainment studio, part community-building experiment — and Bell-Kearney loves every minute of it.

“At my age, most people expect you to become quieter,” she said. “I became a mystery creator instead. Honestly, this might be the most fun I’ve ever had in business.”

The THOG franchise is designed to turn readers into participants. Fans can join the THOG Detective Society, solve mysteries, attend themed events, play online games, and become part of a growing community built around storytelling and entrepreneurship.

Bell-Kearney says the bigger vision goes beyond books.

“This is economic development wrapped inside entertainment,” she explained. “I’m showing people that one idea can become a book, a brand, a game, a community, a media company, and eventually jobs for other people.”

And while some people still believe technology belongs only to younger generations, Bell-Kearney hopes her journey inspires others to reinvent themselves no matter their age.

“Listen,” she laughed, “if a 59-year-old grandmother from Newark can build an AI-powered mystery franchise, then maybe it’s time for people to stop being scared and start being creative.”
