Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust (ASDT), an entity of The Ndege Group, today announced a major commitment to fortify the continent’s security and sovereign needs. This involves a bold strategic move: ASDT will host a series of inter-military symposiums designed to lay the foundational framework for a United African Defence Force (UADF) and to establish a harmonised approach for a unified African maritime border. The inaugural symposium is slated to convene in Johannesburg, South Africa, in November 2025.
Committing over the next 60 months, The Ndege Group (ASDT) will implement this pivotal defence force by systematically harmonising existing military agreements across the continent. This ambitious undertaking is robustly backed by accredited ethical investors, leveraging the formidable capabilities of ASDT’s OmniGaza platform. The singular, unwavering role of this burgeoning defence force will be to serve and diligently protect the vast and diverse continent of Africa. The comprehensive program, meticulously planned for a systematic rollout across the coming decade, will encompass the development of state-of-the-art training facilities, procurement of advanced equipment, and the integration of sophisticated strategic systems. These elements are designed to cohesively optimise asset protection, enhance border control, bolster continental security, and address emerging threats across Africa’s complex geopolitical landscape.
Under the diligent leadership of The Ndege Group Nominees Limited – ASDT’s Nairobi-based Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) – and the meticulous organisation of ASDT’s visionary Founder & Chairman, David Okiki Amayo Jr., this transformative endeavour is further enhanced by collaboration with key strategic stakeholders from around the globe.
