Leeds-based Abu Bakr Supermarket has announced plans to host a special fundraising day to support Field Lane School, part of the Batley Multi Academy Trust, as the school, which is situated near the firm’s store seeks to raise funds for a much-needed new school hall.
The community fundraising event will bring together customers, local residents and supporters to help raise money for a facility that will benefit pupils for generations to come. The proposed hall will provide a dedicated space for assemblies, physical education, performances, celebrations, and a wide range of educational and community activities.
Abu Bakr Supermarket has a long-standing commitment to supporting local causes and strengthening community partnerships. The fundraising day forms part of the supermarket’s ongoing efforts to make a positive difference across West Yorkshire.
