The Sound Healing, Vibrational and Sonotherapy Association (SHVSA), a global nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting the true essence of Tibetan sound healing, today announced the appointment of Dr. Garima Singh as a new member of its Board of Directors. Singh, a trailblazing sound healer from Seattle, will contribute her visionary leadership to elevating the sound healing association’s practice worldwide through rigorous certification, ethical regulation, and community building.
As the founder of Vairagya Yogashala, a premier school committed to traditional and authentic Tibetan sound healing, Singh has trained thousands of practitioners in the transformative power of handmade Tibetan singing bowls, chakra balancing, and vibrational therapies. Her groundbreaking doctoral research integrates ancient Tibetan and traditional Indian healing modalities with contemporary scientific insights, positioning her as a leading authority in the field. Based in Seattle, Singh’s work focuses on emotional resilience, grief transformation, and spiritual awakening, informed by her deep practice in Vipassana meditation.
Singh’s addition to the board will support SHVSA’s core initiatives, including its multi-level certification programs, from foundational to master-level courses, and the enforcement of strict ethical guidelines for practitioners, teachers, and equipment sellers. Her insights will help standardize authentic practices, ensuring they remain undiluted and accessible to a global community of healers.
