BIRMINGHAM, UK, November 14, 2025

I Ain’t No Herb Jackson Studios is proud to announce a partnership with the Birmingham Film Festival, a 10-day event in the United Kingdom that celebrates and showcases professional and independent films from around the world.

I Ain’t No Herb Jackson Studios will serve as a sponsor for the event, with which the production company has a longstanding relationship. Founder, Herb Jackson Jr, will also present several awards at the culminating gala, celebrating a variety of feats within the film industry.

“I was so excited about the chance to be a sponsor and jumped right in,” Jackson says. “It’s truly an honor to support an event that totally aligns with my passion for art and building up the community. I can’t wait to see the festival keep growing and Birmingham’s creative scene really take off.”

Jackson was an executive producer on Aguska, a short anti-bullying film, which won the Audience Choice Award at last year’s iteration of the Birmingham Film Festival, and that victory has been influential in his growing admiration and appreciation for the city, its arts scene, and the festival specifically.

“Birmingham’s vibrant energy and the dedication of its festival community have captivated me since my first visit in 2023,” he says, “I truly believe it’s an undiscovered treasure, brimming with creative potential and an inviting atmosphere that has completely drawn me in. The inspiring passion and talent of the many incredible creatives I’ve met here have left a lasting impression.”

The partnership hit the ground running, and its impressions and impact are sure to be felt at the next iteration of the Birmingham Film Festival, which takes place from November 14 to 23rd. The gala, during which Jackson will present the awards, takes place on November 22, at the picturesque Eastside Rooms.

Founded by Dean Williams and Kevin McDonagh, the Birmingham Film Festival has been a champion of film since its inception in 2018, and has grown to celebrate a wide variety of styles, genres, topics, and more.
