As workplace burnout, fatigue, and mental health challenges continue to rise, companies are under pressure to protect more than just physical safety. Certified Safety Professional, Tracy Krieger, MPH, will address this urgent issue at two major national conferences, equipping executives and safety leaders with strategies to identify and mitigate psychosocial hazards before they escalate into OSHA violations, ADA conflicts, or costly turnover. This talk will be useful to safety professionals, HR leaders, executives.
Krieger will speak on July 24, 2025, at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, and again on August 6, 2025, at the biannual Research & Innovation Summit in Indianapolis. Her sessions will focus on aligning corporate policies with emerging best practices in psychosocial safety to reduce mental health risks across the workforce.
Tracy Krieger is the founder of an Environmental Health & Safety consulting company with over 15 years of experience, called Safety Occupational Care. Before starting her own consulting company, Tracy worked in the Safety Departments at companies such as Disney, Amazon, and Medtronic, as well as running the Safety Departments of large construction companies in Orange County, California.
With over 15 years of drafting and training employees in safety, Tracy is also a seasoned speaker on topics ranging from temporary workers to psychosocial safety.
American Society of Safety Professionals is the top networking event for those in the safety profession, and put on regional conferences that Tracy has spoken at, and now she is honored to speak at the event in Orlando. Tracy’s talk will be called “Rewiring Safety”, and will be asking the audience to make the mental health concerns of employees to be a fundamental aspect in how they train.
The R&I Summit is hosted by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, which also has the national exams that Tracy has passed. This conference focuses on the future of the safety profession, and will have numerous women presenters who are considered leaders in this industry. Tracy’s presentation is on “workplace violence and mental health”.
“When someone is struggling in the workplace, injuries will occur regardless of the quality of their training. This is why psychosocial safety needs to be the foundation of safety programs”, said Tracy Krieger.
