OmniIndex has launched Dropblock.Online, a Web3 file store utilizing blockchain and fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to provide users with secure data storage and analysis. This platform aims to address the escalating risks of data breaches and ransomware by ensuring files remain encrypted even during active use.
Dropblock.Online offers 2GB of free storage to users, emphasizing data privacy through a decentralized, immutable ledger and user-controlled encryption keys. The platform’s core innovation lies in its application of fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), enabling encrypted data to be searched and analyzed without decryption in real-time. This functionality is powered by “Boudica,” an award-winning AI designed to operate directly on encrypted information, allowing for real-time insights without compromising privacy.

It is based on the same technology as OmniIndex’s existing Web3 Data Platform PostgresBC which has proven the viability of the security and encryption. For example, it has customers in Healthcare and Education and has been proven to process over 1.5 million fully encrypted log files in under 400 milliseconds with AI, providing actionable threat intelligence and even threat prediction.
OmniIndex plans to release an enterprise version of the Dropblock File Store in 2025, with integrations for mainstream productivity suites including Google Workspace, aiming to facilitate broader adoption of Web3 security practices.
